The course covers the basics of the UK GDPR that you need to stay on top of your UK GDPR responsibilities. By working your way through the sections, you will see how they fit together and the importance for you to have an overall understanding of what is involved.

What the course includes (and why you need it)

During this course you will learn about the fundamental principles you and your organisation must uphold, the rights of the individuals you must deliver, and the obligations GDPR imposes on you.

One of these obligations is for you to be trained regularly and to maintain your level of awareness of GDPR-related matters. This course will help with meeting these requirements. Refreshing your knowledge, for example by retaking the course at regular intervals (at a minimum annually) is an easy step to take for you and your organisation.

N.B. The ICO specifically asks for the date and contents of any training received with regard to GDPR and data protection on its standard Data Breach Reporting Form.

Easy to complete to suit you

The course is designed to avoid overload and is broken down into bite-sized sections. Each section includes a short video, a transcript of the video and a supplementary explanation of the subject. You will find some background information relating to the Market Research industry in each section to help you to relate the Regulations with practical application in your work. There is also a short quiz in each section - these aren't required to move to the next section but are there to help you to check your understanding.

The sections make it easy to dip in for quick answers even after you have completed the course and you can re-do the course as many times as you wish over a period of 12 months (from purchase). Each time you complete the course you will be issued a Certificate to update your records.
